I’d go for the first option.

Did I choose time over money? Yes.

Here are five reasons why:

  1. It doesn’t matter how much you earn, it will never buy you another second of time. You cannot buy a time machine to go back to the past either. You need to make the most of now while you’re still young and while you have the time to make memories with the people you love around you.
  2. You are probably working too much, or doing unpaid overtime. So it might be more efficient to reduce the hours you work and have more time for some R&R. This way you’re going to make the most out of the few hours you do work. No more staring at the clock, waiting for it to tick past 5 pm.
  3. Pick up that hobby with the new hours you have per week. You know, get round to trying that recipe you bookmarked off Gordon Ramsay’s YouTube channel. We all have this mini list of things we want to do or try, so here’s the extended weekend you’ve always wanted — now make the most of it!
  4. Exercise! We all need more movement in our lives. You probably need to move more, I know I do. Spending so much time sitting in one spot or standing for…
