Write with less fluff

You read that right. I’m done with reading your fluff.

Fluff is all of the words that a reader has to comb through before they find the actual value in what they’re reading.

Say I have an article called ‘How to get rich quick in 10 easy steps’. I’d click it myself, and I’m sure you would too.

The problem is, the fluff is the stuff that does nothing but add to the word count and make my eyes sore from screen reading.

Okay, maybe some of the fluff counts towards SEO and ranking on Google too. But that’s beside the point.

If you really cared about me, as the reader, you would list the 10 steps with a few words for each point and we’re good.

That’s what I want. I want mini-blogs, not your life story.

And I’ve been able to get all the keywords I need for my SEO into fewer words than those ranking higher than me.

Why should the word count matter? In a world where we are strapped for time and obsessed with money, do me a favour and shorten your articles.

Cut the fluff, give me the good stuff.

And maybe I’ll have more time to read the rest of your articles, which will give me a broader view of what you’re about.

Have a good day :)
